Dear Mr. and Mrs. Werner,
Hello my name is Molly Blum, I go to Elkhorn Area High School.
Last year you came to our school and gave your presentation,
which I have to let you know, it touched me. Over the last
two weeks I was very sick and I had gotten meningitis. I wanted
to let you know that I do appreciate what you are doing because
if you had not come to our school my family and I would have
just passed it as the flu. But I was persistent and told my
mom your story and immediately she took me to the emergency
room where I was then tested for meningitis and it came back
positive. I consider myself blessed that you came to my school
and informed us all of what meningitis is. I do also want
to say that I think it was a miracle that you came. I cannot
thank you enough for what you are doing, I truly believe you
had a part in saving my life and for that I sincerely thank
you from the bottom of my heart. I am still recovering, but
letting you know was very important to me. Once again, thank
you from the bottom of my heart, you truly are a guardian
angel.
